Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of directly related experience.
• Demonstrated successful supervisory or leadership experience.
• Required WCPSS trainings which will be provided post-employment.

Responsibilities

• Assigns areas, projects, and work orders to custodians.
• Trains custodians by hands-on demonstration and personal examples.
• Evaluates daily work of other custodians and provides feedback for annual evaluations.
• Inspects contractors' work and communicates any issues to the appropriate contact.
• Ensures school facilities are sanitized, cleaned, and maintained to standards.
• Reviews custodial supply inventory and places orders.
• Operates maintenance checks on custodial equipment; reports major repairs and safety concerns.
• Opens/closes buildings at start/end of workdays and maintains attendance.
