Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in Contra Costa County. The role features leadership, mentor-ship for SLPAs and CFs, and collaboration with teachers and school staff to support K–12 students.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active California SLP license or eligibility.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
• Interest in mentorship and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with SLPAs and CFs.
• Provide CF supervision, mentorship, and professional development support to emerging clinicians.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, pragmatics, and AAC as appropriate.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines.
