Job summary

General Dynamics NASSCO seeks a Scheduling Supervisor to oversee day-to-day scheduling operations in Norfolk, VA. The role coordinates a team to develop and maintain integrated production schedules for ship repair, overhaul, and maintenance projects.

Strong leadership, CPM concepts, and Primavera P6 expertise are essential. The ideal candidate will ensure schedules align with contractual requirements and company priorities while providing guidance to multiple departments and supporting EVMS

Qualifications

• The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and progressive scheduling/ project controls experience.
• Experience overseeing multiple ship repair or maintenance projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software and EVMS is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Scheduling Department activities to ensure schedules are accurate and aligned with priorities.
• Coordinate work of Scheduling personnel across multiple ship repair, overhaul, and maintenance projects.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to scheduling staff.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
