Job summary

Peyton Resource Group is seeking an experienced Project Controls – Schedule Lead to own scheduling for large capital projects in Fort Worth, TX. This on-site role requires coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop integrated master schedules and reliable forecasts.

You will establish baselines, monitor progress, prepare dashboards, identify risks, and implement best practices in project controls within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of project planning and scheduling experience supporting large capital projects.
• Strong experience managing schedules for medium to large-scale capital projects with multiple stakeholders.
• 3+ years of industrial project experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience taking ownership of project schedules and serving as primary scheduling/resource.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling activities for medium to large-scale capital projects.
• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules from initial planning through completion.
• Establish project baselines, milestones, critical paths, target dates, and schedule performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across multiple project workstreams.
• Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, equipment, installation, commissioning, and other activities into integrated schedules.
• Monitor actual progress against planned performance and identify variances.
• Develop weekly and periodic schedule forecasts for project leadership.
• Maintain accurate schedule data and ensure timely updates from project stakeholders.
• Provide schedule forecasts and status updates; develop dashboards and reports.
