Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and analyze complex construction schedules. You will support management across self-performed and subcontracted scopes and craft master schedules with input from operations, clients, designers, and trade partners.

The role requires extensive experience with heavy civil and heavy industrial projects, proficiency in Primavera Cloud and P6, and strong communication skills. Travel to St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred, or experience in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of experience in Project Scheduling, preferably on heavy civil and heavy industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera Cloud and/or Primavera P6.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience performing critical path, earned value, and schedule impact analysis preferred.
• Ability to work with estimators, project team members, subcontractors, engineers, contracting partners, and clients.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Background in Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Deep understanding of construction processes.
• Willingness to travel to St. Louis once a month when based at an Ohio location.

Responsibilities

• Independently or collaboratively create high-level master schedules for projects of varying size and complexity
• Develop summary-level through detailed activity/resource-loaded schedules
• Build master schedules with operations, clients, designers, and trade partners
• Perform critical schedule analysis and recommend adjustments to improve outcomes
• Ensure project schedules conform to contract requirements and specifications
• Participate in estimating and project meetings, providing scheduling input, recommendations, and value engineering advice
• Prepare and present project schedules and narratives to clients and stakeholders
• Identify and manage potential risks and develop contingency plans
• Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA)
