Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter in the Phoenix area to lead a small crew in erecting and maintaining scaffolds. The role involves mentoring Scaffold E&D Carpenters and coordinating with an E&D Foreman.

Strong knowledge of safety, OSHA rules, and scaffold materials is essential. Responsibilities include designing and erecting scaffolds, ensuring loads are properly calculated, and using relevant tools while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Some trade school preferred but not required.
• Scaffold E&D Carpenter for a minimum of 2 years or approved equivalent experience.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Scaffold E&D Carpenters to aid in their development.
• Designs and erects various types of scaffolds; work with tools.
• Safely manage a small crew under the supervision of an E&D Foreman.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA rules and scaffold loads.
