Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a SCADA Engineer for a hands-on, end-to-end role in renewable energy and battery storage. Based in Austin, Texas, you will own SCADA systems from design through commissioning, interfacing with controls, software, and power systems. The position emphasizes technical ownership, system leadership, and long-term career progression within a growing energy technology company.

Qualifications

• Professional experience programming SEL systems, RTACs, and substation automation through SEL relays.
• Experience in power automation systems and enterprise‑grade SCADA.
• Experience with PLC and logic control of utility systems.
• Experience with SQL databases and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Support installation and commissioning of equipment both remotely and in the field.
• Develop, maintain, and support the communications and reliability of site MET towers and data loggers.
• Provide off‑hour support for emergencies and major system events affecting the capability to run generation assets.
• Support project engineering in the preparation and evaluation of technical design drawings, specifications, technical requirements, and operational specifications for project and product‑related items.
