Position Compensation Range:

$128,000.00 - $216,000.00

About the Role

The Lead Salesforce Development Engineer will collaborate with division teams to provide and maintain Salesforce applications that meet organizational needs. You will manage the design of large-scale business solutions within the Salesforce platform, providing technical guidance for specific applications. You will report to the Sr. Engineering Manager.

This is a flex office/home role, requiring a minimum of 10 days per month work from one of the following locations: Madison, WI; Boston, MA; Denver, CO; Eden Prairie, MN; Keene, NH; St. Joseph, MO; Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities

1. Platform Expertise: Serve as a technical expert on Salesforce, providing insights during project initiation, estimating resources, identifying technologies, and participating in proof-of-concept efforts.
2. Solution Architecture: Analyze system specifications and requirements, translating them into detailed designs and system plans, ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices.
3. Design: Address high-risk features or technical challenges using advanced Salesforce development skills to enhance business processes and user engagement.
4. Collaboration and Leadership: Work with partners and team members to validate design decisions and lead Salesforce development best practices.
5. Quality Assurance and Testing: Define and oversee testing practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members to ensure quality.
6. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Salesforce features, advocating and implementing best practices and improvements.
7. AI-Based Interactions: Lead the design and implementation of AI interactions within Salesforce, including adoption of the Agentforce platform.

Specialized Skills Requirements

• Experience delivering customer-oriented Salesforce solutions, including custom solutions and Salesforce clouds like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and AI interactions such as Agentforce.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship, fostering innovation and excellence.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture, design patterns, and best practices for scalable solutions.
• Knowledge of integration patterns, Salesforce APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, AI Specialist).
• Experience analyzing complex Salesforce software, estimating project efforts, and communicating technical updates effectively.
