Overview of the Lead, Sales (Key Holder) Role

You will inspire customers to express themselves in their home. You will bring the brand to life by helping customers discover products that suit their entertainment needs. You will drive sales by fostering connections and creating lasting relationships with customers.

Responsibilities
  • Create engaging customer experiences by sharing expertise on home enhancement
  • Support the management team with opening and closing routines, register functions, and back-office procedures
  • Supervise to ensure the store meets financial goals and provides world-class customer service
  • Maintain store standards for visual presentation, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back-of-house during manage-on-duty shifts
  • Perform the Selling Captain role, serving as a sales and customer service role model
  • Foster an environment of fairness, dignity, and respect in accordance with our People First Philosophy
Criteria
  • Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions
  • 1-3 years retail sales experience; shift supervision experience preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in home-related design, visual merchandising, or stockroom responsibilities preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs. using proper techniques
  • Open availability for full-time associates; part-time associates must work at least 15 hours weekly, including weekends and holidays
