Dollar General is seeking a Front-End Leader to serve as a Cashier and Stocker, stepping in for Store Manager when needed. You will help set up plan-o-grams, supervise basic duties, and deliver exceptional customer service while protecting assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, greeting customers, handling cash, and maintaining a clean, organized store. This role emphasizes teamwork and loss prevention in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months supervisory experience (or related experience/training).

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to the prescribed process for the store.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face shelves and build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Greet customers as they enter the store.
• Operate cash register and handle payments.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized store and promote security.
• Open and close the store under direction; authorize refunds and overrides when applicable.
