Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, customer-first store and lead in the absence of store leadership. You will assist customers, operate the register, stock and display merchandise, and help ensure profitability and asset protection.

Essential duties include greeting customers, handling cash, stocking, cleaning, and enforcing planograms. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to provide superior customer service and follow company policies.
• Knowledge of planogram compliance and merchandise presentation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, rotate stock, and build displays according to planograms.
• Clean the store, take out trash, and maintain a tidy sales floor and stockroom.
• Open and close the store under Store Manager guidance and in their absence.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining planograms and merchandising standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Manager.
