Job summary

EVANSVILLE GOODWILL INDUSTRIES, INC. is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to support the Store Manager in daily operations and staff development at our Henderson location. You’ll greet customers, supervise volunteers, and help with sorting, pricing, and stocking merchandise while ensuring a positive shopping experience.

This full-time role requires clear English communication, a high school diploma or equivalent, and passing a background check and drug test. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with store operations and product inquiries, and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Train and supervise team members, and meet production standards for sorting, pricing, and stocking merchandise.
• Properly process donations, sort according to guidelines, rotate products, and track inventory using basic calculations.
• Ensure a positive experience for customers and donors, maintain security, and ensure compliance with Goodwill’s image, safety, and policies.
• Assist with scheduling, day-to-day operations, inventory management, and statistical reporting; ensure timely completion of activity reports and accurate donation counts.
• Support team operations, perform janitorial duties, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining punctuality and dependability.
