Dollar General Corporation is seeking a capable Cashier/Stocker to perform frontline duties and lead in the store when the manager is absent. You will handle unloading, stocking, merchandising, and cashiering while delivering exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will follow SOPs, maintain plan-o-grams, and help ensure a secure and efficient store environment, with potential supervision experience placing you in a lead position at times.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle deposits securely.
• Familiarity with plan-o-gram guidance for merchandising.
• Able to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Strong written and oral communication and safety awareness.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock shelves according to store process.
• Maintain merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Greet customers and assist in locating items.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases, collect payment.
• Open/close store under guidance of area leadership.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
