Job summary

Infinite Consulting Corp seeks a seasoned Lead Safety Manager for the Philadelphia Shipyard Expansion Project. You will provide on-site safety leadership for marine and industrial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and a proactive safety culture across all work phases.

The ideal candidate has deep industrial/maritime safety experience, CSP credential, and the ability to lead safety across multiple contractors in an active shipyard environment, reporting on-site safety

Qualifications

• CSP required for safety leadership on a shipyard project.
• 10+ years of construction/industrial safety experience including leadership roles.
• Experience on shipyard, port, waterfront, or marine projects.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety; OSHA 500/510 preferred.
• Excellent communication with field labor, management, and clients.
• Ability to lead safety efforts across multiple contractors and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Safety Authority for the Philadelphia Shipyard Expansion Project.
• Establish and continually improve the Site Safety Management Plan (SSMP) and safety programs.
• Act as primary safety contact with Owner, Construction Manager, Contractors, and Regulators.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, maritime safety regulations, and Coast Guard considerations.
• Lead HASP, JHA, MOPs reviews for high-risk shipyard activities.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and field observations on site.
