Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills for prioritizing and supporting teams.
  • Ability to identify hazards, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication with executives, PMs, superintendents, and field personnel.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and safety management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety compliance and policy adherence.
  • Identify hazardous conditions and document abatement actions with follow‑up.
  • Write safety reports and track corrective actions across projects.
  • Lead orientations, drug screenings, and toolbox talks on safety topics.
  • Monitor subcontractors' safety programs and coordinate with project teams.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend process changes to prevent recurrence.
  • Support insurance audits and safety training for personnel.
