Hatched Recruitment Group is recruiting a Safety Manager for Houston, TX, to lead safety across active construction projects. You will work with project teams, subcontractors and field personnel to ensure safe, compliant delivery and foster a proactive safety culture.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction safety, solid OSHA knowledge, and proven ability to lead safety training, inspections and incident investigations on diverse commercial and civil projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and regulations.
• Experience with jobsite inspections, JHAs, incident investigations and safety training.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to work with field teams.
• Hands-on, practical approach to construction safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections, audits and hazard assessments.
• Lead JHAs, pre-task planning, toolbox talks and safety orientations.
• Provide safety training and guidance to employees and subcontractors.
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and project compliance.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and property damage and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, training documentation and OSHA compliance.
• Work with project teams to identify hazards and implement practical solutions.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and address unsafe conditions or practices.
