Job summary

Chenega Industrial Group, LLC in San Antonio, TX seeks a Safety Manager, Fuels to oversee the health and safety program across the organization, develop SOPs, maintain documentation, and implement audits to verify program effectiveness in meeting DoD fuel system requirements.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Fuels Health & Safety Manual, providing training to Site Safety & Health Officers, leading audits, coordinating with leadership, and traveling to job sites to perform assessments and

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years progressive project/program safety management experience in fueling systems repair & maintenance or construction.
• Minimum 5 years DoD Fuel Systems Maintenance, Repair, and construction project exposure or oil & gas repair experience.
• Minimum 5 years case management experience.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement the Fuels Health & Safety Manual and program.
• Provide training to and development of all Site Safety & Health Officers.
• Implement audit program to monitor safety compliance and client requirements.
• Communicate with team members and support functions to meet project needs.
• Lead periodic team meetings and assist in business plan execution.
• Develop safety training program and manage employee certifications.
• Travel to job sites to perform audits and assessments.
• Manage safety equipment programs (air monitoring, fall protection).
• Support senior leadership in annual plan development and execution.
• Other duties as assigned.
