Job summary

Cheniere Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Coordinator to support operations with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, incident investigations, and safety program implementation.

The role requires hands-on safety leadership across inspections, reporting, and emergency response activities. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in HSE or emergency response, with a background in LNG or cryogenic environments, and experience managing safety documentation and PPE programs.

Qualifications

• Education required: Associates or Bachelor's in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or able to obtain certification.
• Five or more years in HSE or Emergency Response; eight+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• File and record safety and health documentation in the document management system.
• Assist HSE leadership with inspections and safety information documentation.
• Monitor, audit, train, and prepare reports for regulatory compliance.
• Implement safety programs to educate and reduce incidents and hazards.
• Specify, select, and maintain PPE for employee safety.
• Report safety conditions to Operations & Maintenance staff and HSE management.
• Provide safety guidance and incident response support to staff.
• Assist with high-risk field permitting activities and safety investigations.
• Conduct or participate in safety investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Enter data into the Incident Management System and support sustainability programs.
• Participate in terminal safety meetings and safety committee meetings.
