Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Construction Safety Manager for a long-term pharmaceutical construction project in Wilmington, DE. You will provide daily field safety oversight for mechanical construction activities and maintain a strong field presence.

Ideal candidates have CSP, 5+ years of construction safety experience, and pharmaceutical construction experience. You will review JHAs, AHAs, permits, and ensure OSHA and project safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for mechanical construction activities.
• Maintain a highly visible presence in active work areas.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments.
• Monitor rigging, pipe installation, equipment setting, and material handling operations.
• Review JHAs, AHAs, permits, and pre-task plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and pharmaceutical project safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Provide field coaching to craft personnel on safe work practices.
• Coordinate safety activities with management, supervision, and subcontractors.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.

Construction Safety Manager

Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 5 Months (Start: 9/14)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $70/hr
Overtime: Available as Project Demands Require
Per Diem: None
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 40-50 Hours Per Week | 1st Shift
Additional Schedule Details: Long-term pharmaceutical construction project supporting mechanical installation activities.

Required Qualifications

What You'll Be Doing
