City Care in Tulsa is seeking a Lead Safety Advocate for The Harbor to provide day-to-day leadership of the Safety Advocates and coordinate safety operations. This on-site, non-clinical role emphasizes de-escalation, guest dignity, and strong community partnerships with first responders.

You will coach the team, ensure clear communications, and support training in CPR and de-escalation to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for neighbors in need.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a frontline team in a fast-moving service environment.
• Ability to remain calm, observant and respectful while making timely decisions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with guests, staff and partners.
• Experience with verbal de-escalation and conflict navigation in real scenarios.
• Ability to apply policies consistently while considering individual circumstances.

Responsabilités

• Lead Safety Operations: supervise Safety Advocates, coordinate coverage and communicate priorities.
• Guest Engagement + De-escalation: greet guests with dignity and reduce conflicts.
• Lead + Develop the Team: provide coaching, set expectations and ensure training completion.
• Build First-Responder + Community Relationships: liaise with police, fire and community partners.
• Documentation & Compliance: ensure accurate incident reporting and adherence to procedures.
