Job summary

City Care Inc. in Tulsa seeks a dedicated Custodian to care for The Harbor, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming space for guests and staff. You will perform daily cleaning, sanitation, and basic custodial tasks under the guidance of the Facilities Lead.

Ideal candidates are reliable, follow procedures, and can lift up to 50 pounds. Prior custodial experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is welcome. This is a full-time position with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Familiarity with standard cleaning methods, sanitation, and safe use of cleaning chemicals/equipment.
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and cleaning schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, safe spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas including restrooms, sleeping areas, common spaces, offices, and shelter facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors and surfaces; restock supplies as needed.
• Empty trash, replace liners, and manage waste disposal.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces.
• Follow cleaning schedules and respond promptly to spills or sanitation concerns.
• Identify and report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisor.
