Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Camden, NJ is seeking a Senior Rust Software Developer to lead embedded software efforts and advance Rust adoption across multiple product lines. This onsite role requires US citizenship and a deep understanding of Rust.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and test software for target hardware, and implement robust Rust/C/C++ solutions with strong DoD compliance. A $10k sign-on bonus is offered along with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; DoD Secret clearance preferred/required.
• Minimum 3+ years developing Rust for production systems.
• Experience with C/C++ development.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Support engineering in embedded Rust application development.
• Lead the adoption and deployment of Rust across multiple product lines.
• Develop software for target hardware using CS/engineering principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware-software interfaces.
