Job summary

Direct Communications in Louisiana seeks a seasoned Construction Supervisor to lead our fiber broadband crews across Tri-Parish and Central Louisiana. This on-site leadership role requires a proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage complex underground utility projects to completion.

You will supervise crews, drive daily productivity, ensure safety and quality, and document progress while upholding our commitment to community connectivity and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation and broadband construction.
• Proven ability to manage teams and high-value resources within tight timelines.
• Strong mastery of fiber optic network maintenance, DLC systems, and power installations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction crews and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Drive daily productivity for installation and repair of the fiber network.
• Lead by example; troubleshoot site issues and maintain site cleanliness and traffic control.
• Document materials, equipment, and progress; enforce company policies on-site.
