Park Place Transitional Care & Rehab in Great Falls, MT, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for Montana's first long-term ventilator and tracheostomy unit. The role includes providing respiratory treatments, assessing patients, and running the shift with leadership duties.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team in a high-acuity setting, stay proficient in PFTs and bronchoscopes, and contribute to patient education for families.

Qualifications

• Must hold Montana Respiratory Therapist license.
• CRT or RRT credential required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.

Responsabilités

• Provide respiratory treatments and interventions as ordered, understanding purpose and side effects.
• Assess patient tolerance and response to treatments.
• Follow sterilization procedures and collaborate with infection preventionist.
• Inspect, test and operate respiratory equipment safely.
• Develop care plans, educate patients and families, and contribute to the interdisciplinary team.
• Lead shift operations: assignments, troubleshooting, emergencies, and liaise with nurses, DON, Administrator and physicians.
• Maintain proficiency in PFTs and bronchoscopes.
