Job summary

Park Place Transitional Care in Great Falls, MT, seeks a motivated RN for a dedicated subacute unit. This role leverages acute care skills to care for residents with trach and vent needs within a community hospital campus setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active Montana RN license, ALS certification (or willing to obtain), and have hospital ICU/ER experience. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with strong support and resources to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Montana RN licensure or compact state
• ALS certification or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks of employment
• Ability to pass a background check without stipulations
• Minimum 6 months hospital ICU or ER experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor vitals and patient status regularly.
• Set up and manage ventilator settings as prescribed.
• Assess patient condition and identify changes or complications.
• Administer medications and monitor effects.
• Provide respiratory care including suctioning and tracheostomy care.
• Document patient progress and ventilator settings accurately.
• Collaborate with doctors and therapists on care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and plans.
• Follow strict infection control practices for ventilated patients.
• Respond to emergencies and ventilator alarms promptly.
• Perform other duties as directed
