Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Lead Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for full-time night shifts. You will lead patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure ventilation, airway management, and critical care support.

The role supports a Level 2 Trauma Center with 427 beds and NICU capabilities. A strong focus on safety, protocols, and staff development is essential, with opportunities for tuition assistance and strong wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years clinical experience in Respiratory Therapy.
• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
• Previous working experience or clinical rotations.
• Great communication skills.
• New Grads are welcome.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Licensed by the State of Georgia.
• Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Your Role as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Patient care for over 25,000 patients yearly.
• 427 beds.
• Level 2 Trauma Center.
• 32 adult ICU beds.
• 12 adult CICU beds.
• Level 3 Neonatal ICU (NICU-RRTs).
• Pediatric care.
• RT procedures and protocols driven.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience, Licensure and Certification required:

• 2 years Clinical experience in Respiratory Therapy. If limited NICU experience, able to ramp up basic skill set (i.e., delivery support, blood gases, equipment setup) within a defined timeframe. Required
