Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The role involves patient assessments, delivery of respiratory care procedures, and critical care support in adult units.

You will ensure equipment is maintained and provide patient education to support optimal outcomes. Required are an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, an RRT license with Georgia, and current BCLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• No experience required; 1 year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties preferred.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license by the State of Georgia (Composite State Board of Medical Examiners) required.
• Current certifications in BCLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and general respiratory care procedures and protocols.
• Conduct critical care procedures in adult care areas and blood gas analysis.
• Maintain and manage all respiratory care equipment and provide patient education.
