Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Lead Respiratory Therapist for FT Nights to join our diagnostic and therapeutic teams on nights. The role involves direct patient care, advanced respiratory therapies, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2 years clinical experience in Respiratory Therapy.
• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
• Previous working experience or clinical rotations.
• Great communications skills.
• New grads are welcome.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Licensed by the State of Georgia.
• Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for over 25,000 patients yearly.
• Support a 427-bed facility with Level 2 trauma center.
• Manage 32 adult ICU beds and 12 adult CICU beds.
• Support Level 3 NICU with NICU-RRTs.
• Provide pediatric care and follow RT procedures and protocols.

Minimum Experience, Licensure and Certification required:
