Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Rotating Equipment Technician Lead to head a team in installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, motors, and gearboxes. You will diagnose failures, mentor technicians, and ensure safety and quality across field and shop operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily tasks, documenting service records, and traveling for on-site support, including overnight calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Five+ years in rotating equipment repair, industrial maintenance, or field service.
• Strong troubleshooting and measurement tool skills; able to read drawings and specs.
• Proven ability to lead daily work, mentor technicians, and ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps, motors, compressors, and gearboxes.
• Diagnose complex failures and recommend repairs and reliability improvements.
• Perform precision alignment and balancing using drawings and specs.
• Coordinate daily work with management, monitor progress, and review quality.
