Job summary

Cowboy Space Corp. in Seattle, WA is seeking an Injector Design and Development Engineer to own rocket injector design from concept through hotfire validation.

You will pair first-principles analysis with hands-on manufacturing and testing to deliver flight-ready hardware. The role emphasizes end-to-end lifecycle ownership, collaboration with vehicle and test-stand engineers, and rapid design-build-test cycles to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline relevant to rocket propulsion.
• Strong command of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and structural mechanics.
• 5+ years in mechanical design for manufacturing and rapid prototyping.
• Hands-on ownership of rocket injector lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own injector hardware end to end from sizing to flight operation.
• Lead design/analysis of Thrust Chamber Assembly components.
• Select manufacturing methods and guide build/test cycles.
