The role focuses on autonomous trailer coupling and integration with the company’s vehicle platform.

The candidate will assess technologies, lead proof‑of‑concepts, and drive system integration, with a strong emphasis on hands‑on development and build-versus-buy judgments.

Qualifications

• PhD required in robotics or closely related discipline with strong robotics focus.
• 8+ years of robotics industry experience including deployment.
• Experience evaluating, selecting, and integrating third‑party robotics technologies.
• Hands‑on development with robotic platforms and AI‑driven approaches preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, development, and deployment of robotic automation for autonomous vehicle operations at ports and logistics hubs.
• Define system requirements, lead proof‑of‑concept activities, and drive integration into the platform.
• Develop and prototype robotic capabilities when commercial solutions are insufficient.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, integration, and safety interfaces.
