Job summary

Venti Technologies is seeking an experienced robotics engineer to lead evaluation, development, and deployment of robotic automation for autonomous port operations and logistics hubs. Qualifications

• PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Eng., Electrical Eng., CS, Mechatronics or related discipline with robotics focus.
• 8+ years of robotics industry experience, including real-world deployment.
• Experience evaluating, selecting, and integrating third-party robotics technologies.
• Strong background in robotic manipulation, motion planning, perception, and control.
• Experience with industrial robotic platforms (ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, Yaskawa, Universal Robots, Franka).
• Hands-on development with C++, Python, ROS/ROS2; prototyping and field troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, development, and deployment of robotic automation solutions for autonomous logistics operations.
• Define system requirements and drive proof‑of‑concept activities.
• Lead integration of robotics solutions into the Venti platform; build or prototype new capabilities as needed.
• Provide build-versus-buy judgments and mentor technically diverse teams.
