Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous Dip Room or Robotics experience a plus.
• Computer Skills
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to properly operate and maintain all robots used in the dipping of D/S, S/C, and equiaxed shell molds.
• Interface with Process Engineering and Maintenance staff to identify and/or prevent shell building problems related to programming and mechanical equipment.
• Responsible for the performance of utility personnel in all phases of mold procurement up to and including setting of lines, preparation of mixes and maintaining robotic functions during times when operator need relief.
• Compliance to all SOP’s and PEI’s outlined for Department 620, including documents used for reporting scrap and mold identification.
• Responsible for communication of robot down time and process problems across the shifts.
• Hand dip all molds, liner or wafer plates which do not require robot dipping.
