Qualifications

• Previous Dip Room or Robotics experience is a plus.
• Computer skills are needed for operations and reporting.

• Demonstrated proficiency with applicable procedure instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain robots used in dipping of D/S, S/C, and equiaxed shell molds.
• Interface with Process Engineering and Maintenance to prevent shell-building problems.
• Oversee utility personnel through mold procurement, line setup, mixes preparation, and robot support during relief periods.
• Follow SOPs and PEIs for Department 620 and report scrap and mold identifications.
• Communicate robot downtime and process issues across shifts.
• Licensed to operate a tow motor.
• Hand-dip molds not requiring robot dipping.
• Maintain slurries, including slurry and sand levels, via testing and SOP adherence.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly; perform housekeeping as directed.
• Maintain shell-building equipment (slurry tanks, pumps, electric lift truck) to extend life.
• Perform other duties as assigned; follow all safety rules and department procedures.
