Job summary

Managed Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to develop, commission, optimize and support robotic automation systems across the project lifecycle, including vision systems and safety configurations.

You will lead projects, mentor junior staff, manage budgets and schedules, and travel up to 50% across North America for commissioning and launches. Requires 3–10 years in industrial robotics with hands-on commissioning experience and automotive exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Associate Degree with equivalent industry experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Configure and teach robot TCPs, User Frames, payloads, and safety configurations (DCS).
• Configure robot I/O and communications networks.
• Set up, commission, and optimize vision inspection paths.
• Integrate robot and non-robot vision systems (robot- and floor-mounted).
• Develop and validate Offline Programming (OLP) solutions.
• Create and maintain robotic simulations for reviews and optimization.
• Analyze and improve robot cycle times to maximize efficiency.
• Validate robot models and simulation accuracy.
• Lead robotics projects from concept to production launch.
• Troubleshoot robotic systems and provide technical leadership during startup and production support.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, technicians, and project team members.
• Manage robotics budgets, schedules, and WBS.
