Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience in civil/roadway engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Louisiana or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design, and analysis of roadway and transportation projects.
• Develop roadway design components including horizontal/vertical geometry and drainage.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Support roadway design for state DOT, municipal, and parish projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare design plans using MicroStation, OpenRoads, or similar CAD platforms.
