Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer based in Portland or Bend, OR. You will lead teams and apply roadway/highway design expertise on exciting transportation projects, collaborating with regional offices to solve complex problems and deliver bold solutions for everyday living.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 5+ years in transportation design, and experience with MicroStation/Inroads/Openroads and plan/estimate documentation. Hybrid work policy supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5+ years of transportation work with roadway/highway design emphasis.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• Experience with plans, specifications, estimates and design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams on large roadway projects and deliver final design.
• Collaborate with Portland and WSDOT Olympic Region offices on transportation projects.
• Apply knowledge to identify innovative solutions and best practices.
