Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer in Boise, Idaho to contribute highway/roadway design expertise on local projects. You’ll work with the Boise transportation team to solve complex problems, deliver practical solutions, and support design documentation with a focus on quality and safety.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years in transportation design, and a PE license. MicroStation/InRoads/OpenRoads experience and strong plans documentation are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of transportation work with an emphasis on roadway/highway and geometrics final design and/or Maintenance of Traffic and Traffic Control final design.
• Professional Engineering license.
• MicroStation/InRoads and OpenRoads background.
• Experience with plans preparation, specifications, estimates and design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Apply roadway/highway design expertise to local Boise projects and solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with the Boise transportation team to deliver bold, practical designs.
• Lead and support projects as a best-practice/quality resource.
