• Assess resident care plans using the nursing process and evaluate outcomes.
• Interview applicants and participate in hiring decisions.
• Lead team conferences to develop individualized care plans and assign qualified staff.
• Implement physicians' orders, administer medications, start IVs, and document treatments.
• Coordinate nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy or procedures with other departments.
• Report observations and reactions and maintain documentation.
• Assist or initiate emergency measures as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
