Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be an RN with a valid state license.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident care plans via nursing process and evaluate outcomes.
• Interview applicants and participate in hiring decisions where permitted by law.
• Lead team conferences and coordinate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and document as required.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are safe and well maintained.
• Coordinate nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy or procedures.
• Record observations and reactions; report findings.
• Assist or initiate emergency measures as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
