Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and resident care standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of nursing professionals.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents & families.
• Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests.
• Maintain safe & clean working environment by implementing rules & regulations.
• Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Plan, organize and direct the Nursing Department activities.
• Coordinate services of nursing staff to ensure best possible care.
• Administer medications and treatments as authorized, when required.
• Conduct admission assessments and incident reviews.
• Record residents’ responses to therapy and report accordingly.
• Attend seminars/workshops to stay updated on nursing care.
• Counsel employees and coordinate referrals as needed.
