Job summary

Excelsior Care Group seeks an Registered Nurse (RN) at Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation Center in Brandon, FL. The role supports an experienced clinical leadership team with a focus on resident-centered care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of SNF experience.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing with daily operations.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain high resident care standards.
• Address and resolve staff concerns or grievances promptly and appropriately.
• Monitor staffing levels and help optimize scheduling to reduce overtime and agency usage.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching as needed.
• Foster teamwork and a positive, collaborative unit environment.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, budget planning, and committees.
• Oversee MDS coordination and coordinate discharge planning with families and care teams.
• Ensure residents receive compassionate, individualized, high-quality care.
