Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Clinical Unit Leader - West Hospital to coordinate patient care on a designated unit and lead nursing teams. The Lead RN/Charge Nurse collaborates with the Clinical Manager to promote excellence in clinical practice and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include adjusting schedules, guiding staff, ensuring safety and compliance, mentoring staff, and facilitating interprofessional collaboration to optimize patient experience and care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state they are working or covered by compact (required).
• Education: BSN preferred.
• Experience: 2 years nursing with 1 year minimum in acuity level of desired area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on a designated unit.
• Adjust schedules and patient assignments to accommodate acuity and resources.
• Oversee unit in the absence of the unit leader.
• Mentor nursing and support staff and provide feedback.
