Job summary

Mille Lacs Health System seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care, lead nursing staff, and coordinate patient care plans. You will assess patient needs, implement plans, and evaluate outcomes while supervising team members and ensuring documentation accuracy.

The role requires a MN RN license, strong communication and teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a 24/7 healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current MN RN license in good standing.
• Criminal background check required.
• Excellent communication across disciplines and at various levels.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and stay detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care using the nursing process.
• Serve as primary nursing care coordinator for assigned patients.
• Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
• Coordinate and perform nursing care activities for assigned patients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment staffing and plan development.
• Document interventions and evaluations in EMR and paper tools.
• Attend monthly department meetings; 50% attendance required.
