Job summary

Mille Lacs Health System in Minnesota seeks a Clinic RN to collaborate with patients, families, and providers to deliver evidence-based care. The RN will support care plans, vaccines, and referrals while ensuring accurate EMR documentation and smooth patient flow.

The position emphasizes high-quality communication, attention to detail, and adherence to safety policies within a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional after-hours rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in Minnesota.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, policies, procedures and medical ethics.
• Excellent communication skills across disciplines and at various levels.
• Attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with EMR systems.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nurse visits.
• Facilitate process and workflows to augment quality initiatives.
• Assist clinic staff to enable efficient patient flow, including rooming and injections.
• Provide medication reconciliation and continuity of care with pharmacy staff.
• Facilitate vaccine administration and proper storage.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing and referrals to providers.
• Develop and promote patient care plans with providers and families.
• Set up prescription refills and complete nurse documentation.
• Review phone notes and forms; support front desk tasks as needed.
• Assist with EKGs, procedures, and restock exam rooms.
• Provide education to patients as instructed by providers.
