Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, LLC in Peru, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct, high-quality clinical care and to serve as a Team Leader for patient care staff on the unit. You will guide care delivery and mentor junior nurses while ensuring compliance with campus standards.

Lead a team to manage medications, treatments, documentation, family teaching, care planning and patient care conferences; apply the nursing process to ensure seamless care from admission through discharge,

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license
• Current, valid CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct care providers to ensure medications and treatments, documentation, family teaching, care planning and patient care conferences are completed in compliance with Health Campus Policies and Procedures.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure continuity of care from admission through discharge and return to family and community.
• Visit residents daily to observe and evaluate each resident’s status and notify the charge nurse/physician/director of nursing if there is a change in condition.
• Identify resident problems and emergency situations and initiate lifesaving measures in the absence of a physician.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
