Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse Lactation Lead in Salem, MA to interpret care plans, assess clinical needs, and provide individualized nursing care. This leadership role offers a supportive environment for experienced nurses.

The position is part-time and on-site at North Shore Medical Center, with a focus on safe, competent patient care and mentorship for nursing staff. An MA RN license is required; ACLS/BLS and specialty certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Current RN license in Massachusetts required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications preferred.
• Oncology, NRP and PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the plan of medical care for patients.
• Assess patients' clinical decisions regarding nursing care.
• Ensure nursing care is provided safely and competently.
• Provide individualized nursing care for groups of patients.
• Lead and mentor other nursing staff.
