Job summary

UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking an RN Clinical Unit Coordinator for Labor and Delivery to lead patient care with physicians and the nursing team. The role requires coordination of care plans, supervision of staff, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced obstetric setting.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree and at least 2 years of LD or ED experience, an active RN license, and BLS. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a specialized practice (LD/ED).
• Active RN license required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee patient care in Labor and Delivery, collaborating with physicians and the nursing team.
• Provide leadership and support to staff; ensure adherence to policies, quality and safety standards.
• Act as a liaison between patients, families and healthcare providers to promote optimal care.
