Job summary

VCU Health in South Hill, Virginia is hiring Clinical Nurses to provide comprehensive care in the Labor and Delivery unit. Successful candidates will demonstrate Registered Nurse experience, and must hold a valid Virginia RN license. Positions require commitment to various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Educational background in nursing is mandatory, with preference for candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree. Benefits include a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible compact state.
• AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent required.
• Experience with a similar patient population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care to mothers and newborns.
• Administering medications and documenting patient care.
• Leading and supervising junior staff in clinical settings.
