Job summary

Responsibilities

Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants. Plan shift services and activities with staff.
Provide written and oral reports/recommendations on shift activities; admit, transfer, discharge residents.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
Develop and maintain good rapport with inter-departmental staff to ensure nursing services meet residents' needs.
Monitor staff to ensure safety regulations in equipment use.
Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information.
